The world-renowned drafting strategy title 7 Wonders Game changes big in 2nd Edition to be released this September. After numerous expansions and years of dominating the space, the inevitable has finally happened. Ten years after the original first edition released, 7 Wonders is launching their second edition. Based on what we have seen, it looks like the art is getting a huge facelift!
The Gameplay will remain the same, but a huge change in art and overall accessibility.
And there will be expansions… Armada, Cities and Leaders!

We are not necessarily making any firm calls of how this is going to be. This is all speculation based on unboxing video below and the information available. The game is now listed on the Asmodee shop website and is available for pre-orders at $59.99 MSRP. This is one of the most popular games of all time, it has been ten years, and the game is still going strong, this move makes fantastic sense.

Oh crap.. Now future expansions if any, would probably relased in 2nd edition, and while I like the looks of the 2nd edition, I still have the 1st one and i won’t throw it away.. :-/
I know, it is a tough dilemma to have. I feel like I am the kid in school with the wrong textbook and the teacher is like “go to page…” and I have to be like “you can’t communicate information to me that way”, greeted by heavy eye rolls.
