November 4, 2020 – Publishers Fireside Games announced plans about their Castle Panic Deluxe Version With Expansions Bundle Coming in March to Kickstarter. This is a relaunching of a Kickstarter campaign. Earlier this year in June they announced shortly after going live that they were pulling back because of feedback they received from the player community.

“Rather than go forward with our initial plan of launching the deluxe version of the core game and bringing out expansions in separate campaigns in the future, we feel it’s going to make more sense to offer the entire Castle Panic line in its deluxe form.” Says Justin De Witt, the company’s chief creative officer.

Now they have made a new announcement about the latest. The game will be coming to Kickstarter in Match 2021 and it will be glorious. The other big news they were excited to bring is that the art complete! This means everything is done for Castle Panic base and The Wizard’s Tower, The Dark Titan, and Engines of War Expansions.

They go on to say:

It’s a big step and we’re pretty darn excited! We are still working on completing all the minis and that’s going to take a while, but we are making good progress there as well. In addition, we have a lot of graphic design, logistics, and packaging issues to figure out, but it’s all moving ahead.

We hope you’re as excited as we are to see this project relaunched, so if you want to follow along, be sure to keep up with us on our social media. Thanks again for all your support!

Castle Panic Board Game

ABOUT CASTLE PANIC

Castle Panic is a cooperative tower defense board game for 1 to 6 players. Players must work together to defend their Castle from almost endless waves of attacking Monsters! The co-op element makes Castle Panic a great family game, and the perfect kick-off for your weekly game night.

Players must work together to defend their castle, in the center of the board, from monsters that attack out of the forest at the edges of the board. Players trade cards, hit and slay monsters, and plan strategies together to keep their castle towers intact. Everyone will either win or lose together, but only the player with the most victory points is declared the Master Slayer. Survival is driven by dice rolling and hand management.
