January 27, 2021 – Another game from the iconic cooperative humanity saving universe is coming. Europe joins the Pandemic Hot Zone franchise. After releasing Hot Zone North America in May of 2020, a still robust yet more streamlined version of the original Pandemic, it made sense that a European version was going to come along shortly after. Though there is no information on a release date yet, it makes perfect sense that this game is coming. Check out the description on bgg below –
Pandemic: Hot Zone – Europe features the same nail-biting co-operative experience of Pandemic in which players win or lose together, but in a smaller form that you can take anywhere and play in a shorter amount of time. As members of an elite team, you use your character’s unique abilities to treat cases, stop outbreaks, and research the cures. Discover all three cures in time to win! Add extra challenges with new mutation cards!
This new version was co-created by original designer Matt Leacock, as well as, Thomas Lehmann, the creator of the beloved sci-fi card game Race for the Galaxy and co-designer on multiple Pandemic expansions including On the Brink and In the Lab.
