Gridopolis is a revolutionary new 3D strategy game and system. With only 7 basic parts, you can play many games or design your own.

Use the modular pieces to build a gridset. Place your nodes and markers and you’re ready to play. Win by being the last player standing, or play a timed game with points. Eliminate opponents by jumping over them – in any direction or dimension. When it’s your turn, you can move, jump – OR build. Gridopolis uses a blend of rules from checkers, chess and even tic-tac-toe.

GRIDOPOLIS REVIEW

6.4 out of 10

Gridopolis is part 3d checkers with a twist and part lego-like creativity experience. The main idea is that it is a system that breeds creativity for budding game designers, but at its core it has a nice little game. Different configurations of board pieces make a space for your to play on. Move your pieces and try to take down your opponents. This is great for inspiring creativity in kids but is something that players of all ages can enjoy.

GRIDOPOLIS HOW TO PLAY

In the game, you capture others by jumping over them in any direction – or dimension. You can move horizontally, vertically, and diagonally – and across multiple levels. Unlike other games, the grid-set (your 3D playing arena) is dynamic and changes during play. Any marker that gets jumped over is captured and comes out of the game. Half the fun is setting everything up. With a fun similar to legos, you get to use the many different pieces to build different gaming setups.
