March 9, 2021 – Publisher PSC games announced this morning that the Prison Architect video game is becoming a board game. Fans of the tycoon, management style simulation game should be excited to see the concept adapted into a tile-laying and auction tabletop experience. You will need to fight over space and use your resources wisely to build the best prison.
Aptly titled Prison Architect: Cardboard County Penitentiary, the game will launch a Kickstarter in May of 2020.
The video game, which is available on mobile, PC and consoles was originally released in 2015 and has sold a bunch of copies. Price varies depending on your platform, but the experience is always the same. Prisoners are coming in and you need to lay down all the various facilities, staffed with all the various people, to accommodate them.
