January 14, 2021 – News dropped today that Renegade Promotes Sara Erickson To Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the game studio announced. According to them, this expanded role will be focused on increasing the growth that Renegade has enjoyed in the past six years with a special focus on serving the diverse fan base surrounding some of their new licenses such as the deal they recently made with Hasbro to represent products for G.I. Joe, Transformers, and My Little Pony brands among others.
It makes sense they would bring on big talent to support these high stakes properties. According to her Linkedin profile, Sara previously served as Renegade’s Director of Sales and Marketing since Mar h of 2016 and before that held the position of Sales and Organized Play Manger at Iello. They have promised lots of things for the future like updated websites and content, as well as, Twitch programs and new weekly board game content across various properties. This all sounds great and we are certainly intrigued about what is to come.

Renegade Game Studios is proud to announce that Sara Erickson has been promoted to a new role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. This expanded role will be focused on increasing the growth that Renegade has enjoyed in the past six years with a special focus on serving the diverse fan base surrounding recently announced licenses.
Erickson entered the industry as co-owner of a local hobby store, Rook’s Comics and Games in 2006 before moving to the publishing side of the industry where she worked for Cryptozoic Entertainment and IELLO before accepting a position with industry veteran, Scott Gaeta, at the newly formed Renegade Game Studios.

Erickson will continue to work closely with hobby distributors and stores while exploring opportunities to reach new customers around the globe. New initiatives making it easier for fans to access Renegade games include an updated website offering expanded resources for fans and stores. She will also continue to support her marketing team, including the most recent addition, Matt Holland, as they design and implement programs offering more options for in-store and at home organized play. As more of the recently announced games based on brands, including G.I. Joe, Transformers, and My Little Pony, are released, the Sales and Marketing team will look for new ways to reach these existing fan communities.
