September 28, 2021 – Publisher Steamforged Games announced that Resident Evil 1 Survival Horror Board Game Will Complete The Trilogy. After making Resident Evil 2 and then Resident Evil 3, the publisher has released information that the third stand alone game will be coming to Kickstarter on October 26, 2021. They also released a teaser trailer to kick things off.

Steamforged Games promises this one to be a brand new experience. With Resident Evil 2: The Board Game they brought the survival horror engine to the tabletop for the first time, creating spine-tingling mechanics like the tension deck to leave you sleeping with the lights on. In Resident Evil 3: The Board Game, they recreated Raccoon City as an open world for you to explore, creating a responsive game state that changes with your choices and forces you to navigate through an evolving nightmare. Now, finally, Resident Evil: The Board Game will be the crowning celebration of a tabletop survival horror experience that’s been years in the making.

They share their excitement to release new details to show why this one is unique in the coming months starting with this Kickstarter exclusive box art inspired by the original classic video game.
