October 19, 2021 – Tabletop Live Network announces a massive Halloween streaming event. The network of Twitch Streamers is doing 24 hours of board gaming across 12 different personalities on Saturday, October 30th – Sunday, October 31st, 2021. The network, founded by board game personalities Ruel Gaviola of Tabletop Tonight and Michael & Nick Murphy of the Brother’s Murph, officially launched in November of 2020 and has been growing vastly in scope ever since.
We reached out to co-founder Ruel Gaviola to ask about the growth of the organization and this big upcoming Halloween event.
“We’re excited about the TLN Spook-tacular! This Oct. 30-31 we’ll be wearing costumes, playing spooky (and non-spooky) themed games, and we have a few surprises in store, too,” said Gaviola.
“In one year TLN has grown from six to over 30 Twitch channels from around the world! When we started last November, we made a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respect, and we’re proud that our membership and community reflects our ideas.”
“Each month 12 of our channels showcase the best of board gaming livestreams and we all have a lot of fun producing an engaging, entertaining, and family-friendly event. We’ve also partnered with terrific event sponsors like AEG, Keymaster Games, The Op, Teebletop, and many other great companies. Earlier this year we had our first-ever TLN Olympics, which featured our streamers playing the classic roll-and-write game Decathlon.”
