You can fill in any box on the score sheet in any order, but you must fill in 1 box during each round. So it’s up to you whether you hustle for a full house or risk it all for a Yahtzee roll. Show off what you’ve got, and let the dice fall where they may.

We have not reviewed this game yet but you do not need us, it is over 65 years old and have probably seen it come your way. This is a classic that still holds up today. It also happens to have spawned the Roll-N-Write genre which now has hundreds of great titles that can thank it.

YAHTZEE HOW TO PLAY
The game is a classic dice game played with 5 dice. Each player’s turn consists of rolling the dice up to 3 times in hope of making 1 of 13 categories. Examples of categories are 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind, straight, full house, etc. Each player tries to fill in a score for each category, but this is not always possible. When all players have entered a score or a zero for all 13 categories, the game ends and total scores are compared.
